Breaking Habits

Breaking Habits

What is a habit?

A habit is a learned behavior that a person repeats so often that he or she begins to do it without even thinking about it.

Certain habits can be helpful, as the habit of brushing your teeth before going to bed or buckling your seatbelt when you get into a car, swimming or riding a bike.

These are habits that a person builds on purpose, to achieve a positive objective and are good habits.

There are also habits that are not so good, such as overeating, smoking, taking drugs. With a lot more habits of varying degrees of severity in between.

A habit is a routine that you have done consciously a number of times, your subconscious mind then takes it over and you begin to do it subconsciously.

Your subconscious mind is unaware whether what you are doing is good or bad for you, it just runs the habitual routine as and when it thinks you want to.

There are so many different habits that people want to change and  I am not going even going to try and list them.

It is difficult to change a habit with a conscious decision alone. This is where hypnosis comes in and allows me to talk directly with your subconscious mind and to change the habit or pattern of behavior that your subconscious mind has been running.

If you have a habit that you want to break, even if you don’t think it’s possible because you’ve always done it.

Either send me an email or give me a call I can help.
